This shoot was so fun… watching seniors excited to get off to their prom and watching their proud parents seeing them off.
We weren’t sure what was going to happen with the session, as it was the first rainy day we had in a long time, but the storm came through and cleared up just in time for us. It was actually a blessing because we were initially concerned with how bright & sunny the location was going to be. It turned out to be perfect.
I love the moment I caught here, Brandon putting on Brooke’s corsage and both of their moms in the background capturing it on their cameras.
LOVE the expressions I get when I ask the couples to ‘look at each other’- they can’t keep straight faces and always end up laughing! 🙂
The guys
Have to throw a fun one in there. I told the girls they didn’t really have to jump if they didn’t want to in their heels- just throw their hands up and fake it. They contemplated taking their shoes off, but then went all for it and jumped, with their heels on anyway! And if you could only hear the discussion before the jump- Can we do a practice one? Are we jumping on 3 or after 3? lol
I took pics of each of the couples in the limo. This one has got to be my fave. The door was still open so there was some great light coming in and something got them giggling.
I love this one too that I captured as one of the moms was getting a pic through the door of the limo.
And one final one of the entire gang before they head out.
I SO wish I hadn’t already put my cameras away as the limo was pulling away and the group of parents were standing waving. Oh how I wish I could have gotten that shot.
