Remember this post from a few days ago about holidays and observances you may not have heard of before?  Well I received an email from the founder of Global Belly Laugh Day, which is on January 24!  She said, ‘The celebration is playful, easy and fun. On January 24 at 1:24 p.m. (local time), smile, throw your arms in the air and laugh out loud’.  How easy is that and how fun?!

I’m definitely going to join and I want to share images of laughter with all of you!  I said I may have some contests/giveaways to go along with the holidays, and here is the first one!!!  It’s easy and will hopefully get everyone SMILING and LAUGHING!  Here’s all you need to do:

(1) Go ‘like’ my facebook page
(2) Send me a picture of someone smiling and/or laughing (must be submitted by midnight Wed 1/23)- mail@kristinefreed.com

On Thursday, January 24 (Global Belly Laugh Day), I will post all of the pictures and they will be open for votes.  The image with the most votes by midnight 1/24 will be the winner!!!  The winner will have a choice of either a $25 credit with Kristine Freed Photography (to capture smiles & laughs for you) or a $10 Starbucks gift card!

This year will be the eighth celebration of the great gift of laughter- I hope you’ll join the belly laughs all around the world!
