Sweet 16 is an important day when a special girl celebrates her coming of age

Maureen contacted me to photographer her daughter, Victoria’s Sweet Sixteen party. I was so excited to do this- it’s such a special time in their lives and is so fun to experience from the outside and capture sweet memories for them.

The party was a masquerade ball- mom & dad helped Victoria get her mask on. Check out her beautiful dress and matching mask!

Each guest that came received one of their one masks for the masquerade.
Victoria is a very talented artist. This is a drawing that she did herself, then they had it mounted to have all of the guests sign as they came in. How cool that she will have this personal reminder of her special day forever!
At the beginning of the party, dad switched her shoes from her sneakers to high heels to signify her turning into a young lady.
Then they had a dance together- so sweet!
A party is not a party without a DJ and lots of dancing!
