Photo Session in the Rain | Something Very Wonderful

Ashley wanted a photo session as a gift for her dad- he had been bugging her for photos of them and she finally wanted to get some done for him. We scheduled her session by the bridge in our neighborhood because it was close and easy. I ended up with Covid beginning of January right before her session and had to reschedule. When it was time for her rescheduled session, it had been rainy so I checked in with her to be sure she wanted to go ahead with the session or if she wanted to reschedule again. She was at the salon already getting her hair done and she said ‘We have to do this today or else I will let it drag on and that is the opposite of what I’m trying to accomplish! Lol. My goal is to get it done’. Totally understand! Some people need the sunny perfect sunset so I explained we were not going to have that, but cloudy moody images are great, too! I thought we were going to escape the rain, but we didn’t! We did the photo session in the rain. It wasn’t pouring, but everyone was a little wet and cold. If you look closely on some of the images, you can see the drops! But we got it done! 🙂

Being a family means you
are a part of something very
wonderful. It means you will love and
be loved for the rest of your life.
